HOKS/ 2025—2026
architecture · backend · product logic
A single platform for booking sports venues, finding players and teams, and taking part in tournaments and the city's sporting life. Designed end to end: service boundaries, data model, and the product logic of three connected areas.
Booking
Esports clubs, football pitches and tennis courts — search by district, filters, time slots and booking confirmation in one flow.
Matchmaking
Finding players, opponents and teams, separately from booking. Minimum fields up front — not twenty attributes for the sake of one game.
Tournaments and ratings
Football, tennis and esports tournaments, player profiles, team cards, highlights and an awards system.
The problem
Booking a venue, finding people to play with, and following city tournaments were three unrelated activities living in chats, spreadsheets and phone calls. HOKS puts them behind one flow.
What I did
Designed the system end to end and built the backend: service boundaries between booking, matchmaking and tournaments, the data model, and the product logic that keeps the three connected without coupling them.
